This simulation demonstrates the design errors made in some gasification plants, were the PH meters are installed in area’s of the track pipes were you don’t have flow, so the measurments are not made correctly. This is a situation that I encountered in the past.
This simulation it’s just to demonstrate the principal effect.

The design with the 5 scoops burried into the fuselage increases the flow into the engines intake. The NACA profiles are carefully determined for the intake to keep the lowest possible drag force.
